Our Summer Performances were a Roaring Success:
more performances TBA

Tumbleheart is seven people crazy enough to transform their own life experiences into story, in real-time, on stage.  We compose spontaneous memoir-scapes, co-written in the moment with one or more members of the ensemble.  The memoirs emerge and take shape on the stage in a manner that uncover the magic hidden in everyday experiences.

You might laugh, you might cry, you might just see yourself in us.  We're in this together, after all.

we slow down time,
embrace the unknown and unexpected,
unleash the spirit of abandon.
leaning into the places that scare us,
expressing true stories vividly on the stage.

What we do...

Tumbleheart slows down time to discover the magic hidden in everyday experiences.  Embracing the unknown and unexpected, unleashing a playful and mischievous spirit, and leaning into the places that scare us, we express true stories vividly on the stage.

We perform improvised, autobiographical, physical theater in solo, duet and ensemble forms as a celebration of our shared humanity.  We rejoice in the transformative power of storytelling.

We are deeply grateful for the pioneering work of Nina Wise, the founder of Motion Theater
.
Motion Theater is where we as an ensemble came together and found our voice, and it continues to be our core artistic practice (see Motion Theater).

Tumbleheart is pleased to have actor/director/writer Corey Fischer as our mentor and coach. [Corey's blog]  [working with Corey on creative projects]
